Finding the Right Real Estate Agent
Finding the right real estate agent that has the experience and knowledge you need... that you can trust to look out for your interests... that your instincts tell you is the "right" agent for you, is not an easy thing to do. That person makes the difference between a happy, stress-free home buying or selling experience, and an unhappy, stressful experience.
The first thing to do is ask if the agent works full time in real estate. Is she/he ready and able to make a full-time commitment to this profession and to YOU? I am proud to answer yes to both. As an experienced agent, I was invited and chose to join The AgentOwned Realty Co., a unique company in that the agents are the stockholders, as our name implies. Our motto is "Expect the Service Only an Owner Delivers", and we live up to that every day.
Secondly, you'll want an agent with the experience needed to know the local neighborhoods, market conditions, and resources for information you need - such as schools, recreational opportunites, shopping, and all the other little things involved in day to day life. With my years of experience in the local market - I have the expertise and track record of success you need. I have experience in many facets of the real estate industry, including mortage lending, which will help you with a very important side to real estate transactions. I have been a licensed real estate agent since 1978 and enjoy utilizing my skills and experience to help my clients - in short, I love my work.
Third, you'll want an agent who embraces the convenience of technology without losing the personal touch. You'll love the resources available on my website and the e-mail alerts that I send, but these will never replace the time I spend with you, serving as your personal guide through this exciting process.
